We are from Forney and discovered your restaurant a Lil over 4 years ago. You instantly became our favorite fish places to go and would make a few trips Anniversaries and Birthdays. And usually would have Gary as our host. It's been about 6 months so we will be making a trip this weekend. And your awesome food and service will truly be missed by us.

Fishmonger’s will be sorely missed by me and by so many! There’s a reason you lasted 4 decades in an industry where the average life span is a fraction of that – great food and great people (those who work there and your loyal customers). Personally, I’m at a loss as to where to meet up with old friends and where to go to get great seafood. Thank you for the memories and good times!!

I’ve spent many hours at Fishmongers, working with great people (now friends) and then just enjoying delicious food and company. The red beans and rice and bread pudding have made it hard to enjoy those dishes elsewhere as they just aren’t as good. Fishmongers will be missed!

I went there for lunch today to I have Blackened Ponchatrain one last time. I have been eating there since 1996 and I’ve never ordered anything other than the Ponchatrain. Well, that and the crab stuffed mushrooms and bread pudding. I’m having withdrawals already. Best of luck. You will be missed.

It is with a heavy heart and great reluctance we have to say goodbye to Fishmonger's. The food and service were always excellent! Kudos to Gary (our favorite waiter) for the great care that we received from him. Of course, we never had a bad meal/night at Fishmonger's. All god things must come to an end, however, should there be a reprieve. I hope someone will let us know. It shall be damn near impossible to find another Crawfish etouffee that is as better than homemade with its authentic spicy, dark roux and loaded with crawfish tails that I will be having an awful craving for a very lengthy time. I hope that possibly Fishmonger's would possibly share their recipe with me. So, in the words of the author, Douglas Adams, "So Long and Thanks for all the Fish". I wish everyone there much happiness and success in their endeavors whatever they maybe and wherever it may take them. Good luck and best wishes! – Don Magee

I've been eating there since I moved here in 1988 and love the food. Especially the fried oysters, dutch mussel pot and shrimp tortilla soup. I would love the tortilla soup recipe so I can make it at home. The flavor of the broth is so wonderful. You will be missed

A lot of good food eaten at all their locations since 1981. Family meals, lunch with coworkers, Friday Lenten meals, and date night and lunches with my late husband. I loved their fried shrimp, cole slaw and fries❤️❤️❤️ Great memories
